Tierney Gearon

Tierney Gearon is fine art documentary photographer known for her brutally honest and, at times, psychologically disturbing work. Her series The Mother Project follows the everyday life of Gearon's eccentric mother. I first saw this series in the Yossi Milo Gallery in New York, and I left the exhibition feeling both intrigued and a bit embarrassed. Her photographs, none-the-less, are beautifully executed and never fail to provoke a good conversation.
